Where is your God? The Liturgy of Life and Death
In everything we do we are either being conformed to the Image of God or conformed to the Image of the world. In Psalm 42 and 43, the Psalmist hears the constant liturgy of the world trying to shape his heart, saying "Where is your God.?" But he recognizes in his longing for God the only life he has--"My soul thirsts for the Living God," and remembers that in the Liturgy of the Faithful his heart is shaped for God-- O Send out Thy Light and Thy Truth that they may lead me, and bring me unto Thy Holy Hill and to Thy Dwelling..that I may go unto the altar of God."
